Joint Action (British Orthopaedic Association)

Joint Action is the research fundraising arm of The British Orthopaedic Association.

Our primary purpose is to lead in the process of developing a research base in UK Trauma & Orthopaedics and harnessing it systematically to address all current and future musculoskeletal needs.

We do this by being the only UK charity to continually raise funding in order to support vital Trauma & Orthopaedic research that will improve patient care and the treatment of bone, muscle and joint diseases and injuries in the UK.

Our main driver is, as it has always been, the burden of musculoskeletal disease as it affects people in the UK.

Joint Action receives no government funding or lottery grants, relying on the generous donations of the public and members of the BOA.  This is why every donation we receive really counts.

For more information about Joint Action and to find out about the research we've funded and supported, please visit our website www.jointaction.org.uk
