An independent Christian Charity the Canaan Trust provides support and accommodation for homeless males 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The charity works in the Boroughs of Erewash (Derbyshire) and Broxtowe (Nottinghamshire).
The provision of accommodation is but the visible tip of the iceberg of our service to the homeless. Person centre in our focus the Trust seeks to help each client to rebuild their lives addressing the often complex needs which have contributed to their homelessness and continue to contribute to their social exclusion.
The Trust provides a wide range of support from health, education, budgetting, tackling substance abuse, life and employability skills.
Our aim is to help each client to achieve the best they can and to move forward into secure independent living. |
