The Poole Hospital Wish List raises funds for all hospital wards and departments at Poole. Each ward has a “wish” list of equipment that they need in order to give the very best possible quality of patient care. Requests from wards vary from medical equipment such as specialist beds to small items such as baby clothes for premature babies or washing machines for long-term patients whose lack of visitors means they have no spare clean clothing. We are indebted to organisations and individuals whose generosity helps us finance a variety of schemes and extras that can make all the difference to a patient’s stay.

The main objectives of the fund are:
• To ensure hospital wards have access to the latest state of the art equipment, thereby helping to provide the very best treatment for patients.
• To raise funds to purchase and maintain a central store of equipment which is used by all wards, ensuring that staff have access, as and when needed . This equipment is urgently needed to cope with an ever-increasing demand on hospital services and greater advances in technology.
• To promote a close relationship between the local hospital, the general public and the commercial world.
